So, imagine this is a whisper. Don't tell my body, but here's the thing: I've been on lupron for a week, and I have had absolutely no side effects. Nada. Zip. I'm simultaneously thrilled and a little bit nervous that the stuff might not be working. Mostly, I'm really thankful. But don't say this out loud.
There's the update. Shots are going fine; acupuncture is fantastic. Suppression check this Friday. Yes, the 13th. I have no fear.
I hope that it stays the course for you...or at most minimal side effects although I have to say, I am a week and a half in and had nothing in the way of side effects until last night...when I had a major meltdown on the hubby. Took mere moments to get back into control but scared the socks off me! I think some additional stress set it off (car overheated AND found out that we DO have to proceed with ICSI at additional costs within fifteen minutes of this all) so I think that you'll do fine especially since the acupuncture will help with that. Ironically my RE's office said that they don't recommend or dissaude patients to do acupuncture...because it is a costly procedures. I almost started laughing in their faces :)

ReplyDeleteI love that you are just a few days ahead of me, because I can totally relate! I've done four Lupron shots and so far, no side effects for me either. Hopefully we both continue doing well throughout!
